Extremely Fine Part Silk Authentic Persian Seyrafian Isfahan Carpet. 100% Natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, hand spun, pure silk and finest baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation. This is a strikingly majestic and artistic royal Isfahan and it is a perfect example of a sophisticated arabesque Seyrafian design, with its tear drop and sunburst central medallion. This Lovely piece has a lustrous appearance of utmost beauty with its glowing silk highlights giving it a three dimensional character. Please check the photos for amazing details and care put into creating this work of art. It takes a master weaver well over four years to create this beauty. The leather band sewn on the edge at the back of this rug is to keep the edges from curling under due to the extreme tightness of the weave.
