Extremely RARE hand carved LAOS BUDDHA STATUE

A rare and exquisite Antique LAOS BUDDHA statue. Hand carved in the provincial style of the Hill Tribe people of LAOS.  This very large and rare artifact is approximately 150 years old.  The statue depicts a LAOTIAN Buddha in the meditation mudra gesture. He is Meditating on spiritual enlightenment. Overall Condition: good with age related wear. There are some remains of the original red and black lacquer paint. Also some remains of original gold gilding. Approximately Measurements: 13"x 4.5" x 4" Weight: 6 pounds
