Exclusive Pablo Picasso etching on Rives wove paper published by Editions de l’Atelier Crommelynck in 1968. This work is from the limited edition of 180, numbered in pencil and dated in the plate. Le Cocu Magnifique is a play published in 1921 and tells the story of a jealous man, Bruno, who – because of his jealousy, loses his wife, Stella. Picasso knew the writer of the play and always intended to illustrate his rendition of it. In 1968, Picasso published his rendition of the play, where he created scenes with characters from his own personal mythology. The work Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
