1920 Standing Liberty Silver Quarter Choice AU Classic Early Type Silver Quarter
A beautiful 1920 Standing Liberty Quarter graded Choice About Uncirculated (AU), featuring strong remaining detail and attractive original surfaces. Designed by Hermon A. MacNeil, the Standing Liberty Quarter remains one of the most admired classic U.S. coin designs ever produced. Because apparently even circulating coinage used to look like actual art before modern coins became tiny corporate logos with trust issues. This example displays sharp central detail on Liberty and the eagle, with moderate wear on the high points consistent with an AU designation. The shield lines remain visible, much of the gown detail is intact, and the reverse eagle shows strong feather definition. Nice problem-free collector quality with pleasing silver-gray surfaces and solid eye appeal.
