Saint Joan of Arc Bronze Sculpture

This Bronze Sculpture of Saint Joan of Arc or The Maid of Orleans was a peasant girl born in eastern France who claimed divine guidance lit her path. Visions from God instructed her to recover her homeland from English domination during the Hundred years' war. She led the French army to victory repeatedly during the war. Despite her connection to a higher power, she was captured and eventually burned at the stake when she was just nineteen- years old. This is a brown patina Bronze sculpture cast using the Lost Wax Method and mounted on a marble base. Dimensions: Height 16 X Width 6 inches. Weight: 10 LBS.
