Expertly cut! 16.54ct vibrant Swiss blue Topaz from Brazil!

This is an amazing piece. The concave cut draws in the light, and sends it out in a spectacular show of glowing flashing in non-stop needle fine flashing that radiates outward through the gems. Its fiery display glitters in brilliant blues, and can easily be seen at arms length in both high and low light. The Swiss blue color of this piece is vibrant light saturation, and it features pristine eye clean clarity with a black feathery inclusion that we have highlighted in the photos, but is not as pronounced in hand. This fascinating little inclusion is what's referred to as a "healed fracture", where there was a tiny fracture during its crystal development, and it was naturally filled, or "healed", with metallic oxides during its growth cycle. This is a process that only happens in earth mined topaz and each heal is as unique as a fingerprint. This well faceted gem measures an impressive 16.2mm x 15.5mm x 9.6mm and has a Mohs hardness rating of 8 out of 10 making it as durable as it is beautiful. Sourced from Brazil.
