Roman Knight Warrior Bronze Statue

The Roman legion soldier stands looking to the horizon of a scarred battlefield. He is wearing some of the soldier regalia. Atop his head, he wears a galea, which is a soldier hat. Down his back falls a paludamentum, which is a long cloak fastened over one shoulder, usually signifying the commander status. Around his waist, he wears a tunic which is customary for soldiers to have a little above the knee. In his left hand, he carries a spear used in the offense. The bronze handmade sculpture was cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation and is mounted upon a marble base.
