Huge 6.04ct deep swirling green high luster Sapphire!

This sapphire is large! Measuring 11.7mm x 9.6mm x 6mm and weighing 6.04 carats, this piece definitely stands out in a crowd. And its color has a very rich tone, showing a swirling collection of earthy greens with touches of black and saturation that moves from opaque to translucent. It's like holding a crystal terrarium! And although the top is cut with fantastic symmetry, the bottom features an off center pavilion that will give it a little push on the bottom if pendant set, giving it a fuller facing. And of course the entire package is finished with a high polished superior luster. This large example was sourced from Mozambique, and was beryllium heated for permanent color retention.
