This staff is inspired by the legend of the Monkey King. The Monkey King and his staff originate from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, first published in the sixteenth century, where the weapon was known for its ability to change size at will. The staff features a retractable design, measuring approximately 39 inches when collapsed and extending to about 5.6 feet when fully expanded.
