Green Jade Scepter

A green jade Ruyi Scepter hand-carved from natural jade stone and measures approximately 4.7 inches long and 1.7 inches wide. The piece features traditional cloud motifs and organic variations in color and texture that occur naturally in jade, resulting in a unique appearance for each example. The Ruyi, meaning as you wish, has been a symbolic object in Chinese culture since at least the Han dynasty, where it was associated with authority, harmony, and good fortune and later became a common scholarly and ceremonial object. Each piece will have variations due to natural formation.
