Huge! Chianti red! 12.85ct top luster Spessartite Garnet

This very large gem presents exquisite color showing a rich chianti hue with strong saturation that glows through its translucent body. And when held to the light you can even see touches of amber, just like in the wine. It has a well cut top that takes full advantage of the spectacular luster that sparkles over its smooth cut facets. This garnet was sourced from Mozambique, and has substantial size measuring 15.2mm x 12.7mm x 7.8mm. Untreated!
