Sourced from India, this exotic gemstone has everything you need for an impressive setting. You've got a simply stunning pearl white body with a strong adularescent effect that creates a ghostly blue shadow that floats through the gem. This is because moonstones are naturally formed by not one, but two different types of feldspar, orthoclase and albite. The crystals develop in a thin layered formation that scatters the light and forms these gorgeous colors. This effect is amplified by the gems evenly saturated translucent body color and smoky clarity making the delicate blue color really pop. And its glistening superior luster glistens over the whole display. It is very well cut with fantastic symmetry, and measures 12.2mm x 7.3mm x 4.6mm. Sourced from India. Untreated!
