Antique CAMBODIAN BUDDHA STATUE 18th Century w/ COA

A very Rare and stunning Antique Buddha from the 18th century.  This artifact is a Cambodian Buddha in his royal vestments meditating on spiritual enlightenment. An amazing piece. This statuette was recovered from a collapsed Stupa in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  (A stupa is a Buddhist architectural structure that is place of meditation and a repository for relics and artifacts).  A stupa can have a repository of small statues, amulets and talismans. This very beautiful piece has remains of the original lacquer and gold gilding.  Made of a bronze alloy and a hard clay core. Measurements 5" x 4" x 2"  COA (Certificate of Authenticity) included with the purchase. A great addition to your South East Asia antique collection.
