Everyone knows that blue ( indicolite ) and red ( rubellite ) tourmaline are very rare, but have you ever seen white tourmaline? Probably not. Until now. This is 2.43 carats of Achroite ( clear ) tourmaline, and it is breath taking. Sourced from Mozambique, this rare variety has a silvery diamond white hue with just the faintest touch of an undertone. Sometimes you will swear you see blue in it, sometimes green, and sometimes yellow, depending on the lighting and what colors are around to influence it. It is very well cut with an elegant emerald shape, creating continuous linear flashing, and it exhibits premium VS clarity. It measures 9.1mm x 6.3mm x 4.6mm, and is UNTREATED!
