Collectors alert! Massive 22.16ct UNTREATED Grandidierite!
Wow! Do not miss this faceted example of what is considered one of the worlds rarest gemstones! Presented here is a 22.16ct grandidierite sourced from Madagascar, and it is amazing. It has a blue green hue that is rarely found naturally in gemstones with a semi-opaque body that lets in enough light to make the color glow while still maintaining a strong tone. This highly collectable piece is well cut in a classic teardrop shape that would show beautifully in a pendant setting, and measures an impressive 25.8mm x 16.5mm x 8.5mm. And it is UNTREATED! So we have gorgeous natural color, a great cut, and ample size. And we think it would look amazing in your gem and jewelry collection.
Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate. Listed gemstones are greatly magnified, and minor details that present themselves in the photo may not be visible with the naked eye. There may be slight color differences due to individual monitor settings and capabilities. *Except for topaz. As irradiation is the standard treatment for this gem type, they should be assumed to be as such, unless stated otherwise in the description.
