Exclusive Salvador Dali Hand-Signed Lithograph from 'Pantagruel' suite, 1973

This work is from Salvador Dalí’s 'Pantagruel' Suite which is a rare and striking series of lithographs created in 1973, in which the master of Surrealism re-imagines grotesque Renaissance illustrations first published in 1565 as 'Les Songes Drolatiques de Pantagruel'. This example is a lithograph in black and white on Japon paper from the limited Roman Numeral edition of V (50), pencil signed by Dali and numbered in the margin. Comes with a certificate of authenticity from the renowned Dali expert, the 'Salvador Dali Traders.' The print price guide for Salvador Dali graphics authored by Dali expert Bruce Hochman lists the retail for lithographs (without color) from the 'Les Songes Drolatiques de Pantagruel' at $6,750 each.
