Glowing! 2.12ct full cover multi-pattern black Opal

Don't miss this amazing opal! It has gorgeous black and grey body with a touch of smoky translucency that really make its colors pop. In hand this piece has much stronger play of color than in the pictures, exploding in fiery reds, electric greens and vibrant oranges and yellows with touches of indigo. It features a well blended mix of chaff, floral and block patterns with honeycomb on the bottom, that all smolder in low light and dazzle in bright light. The play of color is constant. Measuring 12.6mm x 7.9mm x 5.1mm, this example has a low dome cabochon cut giving it incredible surface area, and a pearlescent luster that glows over its smooth surface. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
