Gorgeous Persian Ardabil rug. Size 3.3x4.11 feet, made of the fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye. This piece is adorned with a charming collection of geometrical objects, center row of three finely done tribal medallions, and framed beautifully with a floral border. This rug is an example of the melding of different types of textile production; Powerful and rich in culture which can define a room. Hand woven by a tribal carpet weaver in Ardebil, Iran. The approximate year of origin: 1990-2000
