A lioness wanders through her wild African habitat after chasing away a predator from her cubs. She is fierce yet nurturing, ready to fight to the death to protect herself or her young. The deep carving of this sculpture is a tribute to the rugged strength lions possess. She appears somber here, adopting a slow pace and representing a duality of strength and calmness. This 100% bronze piece was cast using the lost wax method. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 9 X Width 20 inches. Weight: 32 LBS.
