Gem grade scapolite is extremely rare, and is coveted by gem and mineral collectors, and a must have for your private or professional collection. Yellow scapolite is only found in five places around the world to date, with richer varieties coming from regions in Africa, while lighter varieties come from Brazil. This very large example was sourced from Madagascar, and has light saturation with a gorgeous champagne hue with strong confetti flashing. It measures an impressive 10.8mm x 9mm x 6.6mm, and has a high polished shimmering luster. Mohs hardness rating: 6 out of 10. UNTREATED!
