The donkey comes across in its natural and free state. With a jerk of the head and a cock of an ear, he notices the viewer, and continues to trot along without the burden of a heavy package. The 100% bronze handmade sculpture was cast using the ancient method of lost wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for conservation and is mounted upon a marble base.
