Charming Mid Century Armenian Weave Vintage Talesh
Lovely 1950s Armenian Weave Vintage Talesh. Made of all natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, hand spun, softest baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation. Talesh and its inhabitants date back to the 13th century and certainly much earlier. Armenians have indeed been part of the Talesh community forever. Talesh rug production is very few and far ln between, however, the few that are produced are superior in terms of quality, design and color scheme. One of the enticing characteristics of Talesh rugs, is featuring a broad spectrum of color palette, unmatched in the rug industry. Creases are due to fold and not a defect.
